  • 28.09.2024, 18:47

The decision comes into force on November 1, 2025.

Minibuses in Belarus will have to be equipped with payment terminals. This follows from the Resolution of the Council of Ministers and the National Bank #740/22, which was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal.

The list of objects and types of activities where legal entities and individual entrepreneurs must use payment terminals has been supplemented with the item “urban automobile transportation of passengers in regular service by buses of category M2”. This decision comes into force on November 1, 2025

The resolution also postpones the entry into force of the rule on the use of cash registers when accepting cash and non-cash payments by one year.

Now, starting from July 1, 2026, and not 2025 as before, legal entities and individual entrepreneurs will have to accept payments to themselves in one of the following ways:

in cash using automatic electronic devices, vending machines with an installed means of control of tax authorities, or with a built-in cash register with an installed means of control of tax authorities, or with an installed software cash register or interacting with a software cash register located in the data processing center of the operator of the software cash system;

in cash and in non-cash form, including when using other payment instruments and (or) electronic money using automatic electronic devices, vending machines with a built-in cash register with an installed means of control of tax authorities or with an installed software cash register or interacting with a software cash register located in the data processing center of the operator of the software cash system.
