And explained why modern Russia is no different from the Nazis.

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, speaking at a meeting of the UN Security Council on September 24, said that the Russian Federation is committing genocide by kidnapping children in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories. He compared Russians to the Nazis during World War II. The event was broadcast on the UN website.

Sikorski refuted statements by the Russian representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya, including that Russia does not bomb civilian targets in Ukraine.

He spoke about his recent trip to Lviv, where a Russian missile hit a residential building, killing children.

He also recalled that the Russian regime kidnaps Ukrainian children and takes them to itself to make Russians out of them. Sikorski said that children in Russia are being “brainwashed” to deprive them of their memories and national identity.

“How is what you are doing with the kidnapped Ukrainian children different from what the German Nazis did with your and our children?” Sikorski asked Nebenzya, emphasizing that “kidnapping children in other countries is tantamount to genocide, as the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe recently confirmed.”

“This is a shame for Russia that will not be forgiven or forgotten,” Sikorski said.

He also refuted Nebenzya’s false claims that the USSR allegedly did not collaborate with the Nazis during the joint invasion of Poland in 1939. He showed Nebenzya a joint photo of Soviet soldiers and Nazis.
