Expert talks about the consequences of the Sarmat missile explosion in Russia.

Sarmat missiles are regularly tested in Russia, and the latest test once again became "a fall in the greatness of the Russian Federation." Aviation expert and analyst Konstantin Krivolap said this in a commentary to the Freedom TV channel.

"Sarmat missiles are tested in Russia with a regularity that can be envied, but Putin has never been invited there. Because, probably, Putin understands, he has some kind of instinct for potential danger. How good it would be if he were at the very center of these tests," the expert said.

He believes the missile exploded due to nitric acid and a fuel leak.

"Only an oxidizer, namely nitric acid, gives such a color to the cloud during an explosion. And what led to a fuel leak and such a fire speaks of the fall of the imperial greatness of the Russian Federation. After all, several defense systems duplicate each other and which should prevent such situations. But they didn't work," the expert explained.

He noted that the failed test is unique since similar disasters had already happened in the 1960s, but that was the beginning of rocket science and this has not happened since.

"I think there are a lot of dead people there, in fact. And a fairly large area around is contaminated. We can't see everything yet, because nitric acid doesn't act very quickly, it affects gradually," he stated.

Recall that in the Russian Federation, during tests, a nuclear intercontinental ballistic missile RS-28 "Sarmat" exploded right in the silo. A crater with a diameter of about 62 meters remained at the site of the explosion.

The Kremlin has not officially acknowledged the unsuccessful test of the Sarmat missile. Russian authorities claim that they have heard nothing about the incident.
