However, they decided not to bring the aviation to intercept the drone.

Russian ‘Shahed’ drone has flown over Belarus once again. At that time Lukashenka's helicopter was in the sky.

The drone crossed the border at 09:25 a.m. near the village of Lubech, having flown in from Chernihiv region of Ukraine. Later, the drone headed towards Brahin. The further fate of the aircraft remains unknown. At the time of its appearance in the air, no sorties of the Belarusian Air Force aviation over the southeastern regions of the country were recorded, the monitoring groups report.

At the same time, a helicopter with Lukashenka on board was in the sky over Belarus. It departed from the Aziorny residence and headed for the 230th general military training ground of Abuz-Liasnouski, landing there around 10:00. Assuming the drone kept travelling northwest, it could have reached the Abuz-Liasnouski firing range by 11:00.

According to Hayun, this is at least the 45th drone that has entered Belarusian airspace since July 11, 2024, and the 24th in September alone.
