US presidential candidate Kamala Harris has criticised her opponent Donald Trump's call to partner with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

According to Harris, it is important to understand ‘why our allies from Europe and NATO are so grateful to us that you are no longer President’.

She accused Trump of ‘surrendering in 24 hours’ while ‘Putin would sit in Kyiv’ and look further away at Europe.

‘We need to understand the importance of NATO and what we are doing to support Ukraine. Otherwise Putin would already be sitting in Kyiv thinking about how to attack Poland. You think you are friends with a dictator, but he would eat you for lunch,’ the Democratic candidate said.
