They were abandoned by their commanders.

A whole company of Russian soldiers voluntarily surrendered to the AFU in Kursk region. This was reported by the press service of the ‘I Want to Live’ project on August 15.

It is noted that the soldiers surrendered on August 14. This decision was made by more than 100 Russians, who were left by their commanders.

‘They can be understood, it is difficult to fight, when you are commanded by arrogant and treasury thieves, and the flanks are ‘covered’ by Kadyrov's bandits, who abandon everyone and everything, just so as not to be captured themselves,’ the press service emphasised.

It also jokingly expressed gratitude to the Russian commander of the ‘North’ group Alexander Lapin.

‘Well, and thanks to General Lapin, who helps us to advance successfully in Kursk region, as well as in Kharkiv region in 2022, for the defence of which he was responsible,’ the post reads.
