Drone Strike: Lukoil Oil Refinery Is Burning In Russian Volgograd Region

It is still burning.

At least five Ukrainian combat drones attacked the city of Kalach-on-Don in the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation. UAVs set fire to the Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka oil refinery, Russian media reported.

In total, at least three drones fell on the plant. According to locals, the UAVs flew one after another. It is still burning.

Later in the morning, the airports of Volgograd and Astrakhan were closed due to the threat of a second Ukrainian drone attack on the region.

Airports do not accept flights for arrival and departure.
