Zelensky Unexpectedly Arrives In Warsaw

The Ukrainian president will meet both Tusk and Duda.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has already arrived in the Polish capital and will soon meet with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

This is reported by RMF24 with reference to its sources.

After 11 o'clock Kyiv time, journalists learnt from sources that Zelensky had already arrived in Warsaw - shortly after the Ukrainian president's visit was indirectly confirmed by the Polish Foreign Ministry.

As part of his visit, he will first meet with Donald Tusk, their joint press conference is expected to take place around 14:00 Minsk time.

This will be followed by a meeting with President Andrzej Duda.

Zelensky is expected to thank the Polish leaders for their support of Ukraine and report on the situation on the front. They will also coordinate their positions before the NATO summit in Washington.

The news does not mention the planned signing of a bilateral security agreement between Ukraine and Poland, but it is highly likely to happen today.
