Biden Says Only 'Lord Almighty' Could Oust Him From Race

The US President does not believe in polls indicating a decline in his rating.

US President Joe Biden said in an interview with ABC that only the “Lord Almighty” could oust him from the presidential race.

He considered the concerns of his supporters and opponents about his age, cognitive abilities and falling ratings to be unfounded.

Biden explained his weak performance a week ago during the debate with Donald Trump, who is also running for the US presidency, by having a cold and fatigue.

The US President then had difficulty formulating answers, looked disorganized and forgetful. Because of this, many, including Democratic lawmakers, are calling on Biden to abandon the fight for a second presidential term.

The latest call was a letter from business and civil society leaders, in which they ask Biden to refuse re-election “for the sake of democracy and the future of the nation.”

The authors of the letter believe that Biden has a better chance of losing than winning, and remind us of the threats that Trump may pose to the economy and national security.

The letter has already been signed by 168 pro-Democratic activists — and signatures continue to arrive even after the document was delivered to the White House.

During the interview, Biden also said that he does not need cognitive testing and that the best test is his daily activities as president.

He insists that no one is better qualified than him “to be president or to win the presidential race.”

Biden has added that he does not believe the polls that predict that he will lose the election, which will take place on November 5, 2024.
