It will happen already this year.

Norway has decided to transfer six F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. Deliveries of the aircraft will begin this year.

This was stated by Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, VG reports.

He said Ukraine's ability to defend against air attacks is critical to its defense against Russia.

“Norway has decided to donate six F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. We plan to begin deliveries in 2024,” the Prime Minister said.

In August 2023, Støre announced during a visit to Kyiv that Ukraine would receive F-16 fighter jets from Norway. However, the Prime Minister of Norway then did not disclose either their quantity or delivery time.
