Opened in 1992.

The website of the Institute of Entrepreneurial Activity (IEA) published information about the closure of the educational institution.

The Institute of Entrepreneurial Activity was founded in 1992 on the initiative of the Scientific and Technical Society of Builders of Belarus. In 1993, 300 people were studying at the commercial institute in rented classrooms of the Belarusian Polytechnic Academy, the Polytechnic School, and the Architectural and Construction College. Upon graduation, after four years, they received certificates of managers and businessmen in various sectors of the national economy and entrepreneurs in small and medium businesses.

“The founder and management of IEA decided to terminate educational licensed activities from September 1, 2024. In this regard, IEA will not accept applicants in 2024,” the statement says.

The IEA noted that in order to continue their education in their chosen specialty, all students will be transferred to other universities.

“The IEA management and the founder are developing an action plan aimed at ensuring the transfer of students. Information about specific educational institutions to which the transfer is planned will be communicated to each student in advance through the heads of study groups and other means,” the university added.

A week ago, it became known about the closure of another Belarusian private university, BIP — University of Law and Social Technologies.
