Russian Soldiers Surrendered To Ukrainian Armed Forces In Kharkiv Region

In the Liptsy area of the Kharkiv region, soldiers of the 3rd operational battalion of the Spartan brigade captured three Russian occupiers.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press service of the National Guard.

The Russian soldiers got lost in the area and ended up at the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

In captivity, they said that they had only been in Ukraine for a week. These are two servicemen of the 7th separate motorized rifle regiment and another one of the 79th separate motorized rifle brigade.

“All three captured are contract servicemen and have been in the Russian army for less than a year. One of the occupiers said that due to health reasons, he did not even undergo any training before moving to the combat zone. According to the prisoners, their main motivation to go to fight against Ukraine was exclusively financial support,” the report says.
