Finnish President Proposes Unexpected War Ending Plan In Ukraine

Finnish President Alexander Stubb, speaking to reporters at the peace summit in Switzerland, said that China can play a key role in establishing peace in Ukraine.

"I strongly urge China that it could influence Putin to end this war," Stubb said.

In addition to China, the Global South can play an important role in achieving peace, the President of Finland noted.

He noted that the summit was attended by "many representatives of Latin America, Africa, Asia and especially the Middle East.

“It gives hope that we can get on the path of peace, and I think it's important that this happens on Ukraine's terms,” Stubb said.

The Finnish leader also appealed to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to stop the guilt. At the same time, Stubb rejected Putin's “peace initiative.”
