Putin Cancels Post Of His Representative On Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on the structure of the presidential administration. The post of special representative for Ukraine has been excluded from the staff of the administration.

‘The words “special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the development of trade and economic relations with Ukraine” are to be excluded,’ the decree reads.

This position was held at different times by Viktor Chernomyrdin, Mikhail Zurabov, Dmitriy Livanov and Vladyslav Surkov.
