Polish Foreign Minister: Russia's Attack On EU Is Absolutely Probable

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski believes that Russia's attack on the EU countries is probable. The head of the Foreign Ministry expressed this opinion at the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2024, which is taking place in Berlin.

“If you look at the world from Warsaw, then 200 km to the north there is a Russian enclave — this is Kaliningrad, and there are 100 nuclear warheads there, the Russians keep them there. In addition, Belarus is nearby. That means that an attack on the European Union is absolutely probable,” Sikorski said.

The head of the country's foreign policy department also recalled that sometimes during attacks on Ukraine, Russian missiles violate Polish airspace.

“Sometimes they accidentally fly into our airspace. Even to the western part of Poland, which is 250 kilometers from here. It is very close, and the danger is greater than some people think,” the diplomat emphasized.
