Germany Will Transfer The Third Patriot System To Ukraine

Germany will transfer the third Patriot air defence system to Ukraine in the coming months. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced this on June 11 at the opening ceremony of the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2024 in Berlin, gordonua.com reports.

According to him, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, Germany has transferred €30 billion in military aid to Ukraine. Scholz assured that he would support Ukraine as long as it is needed.

“The most urgent need of the Ukrainian army now is ammunition, weapons, especially air defence. Therefore, over the next weeks and months we will deliver the third Patriot air defence system, as well as the IRIS-T, Gepard systems, missiles and ammunition,” the Chancellor assured.
