Colonel-General Mikhail Teplinsky, commander of the Russian Airborne Troops, could have been killed as a result of the Ukrainian Defence Forces' strike on the tanker, where the occupants' command post was located.

Information about Teplinsky's death is preliminarily confirmed to OBOZ.UA by sources in the Ukrainian intelligence. According to Russian media, he was on the occupiers' tanker, which was hit by the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

Russian propagandists report that General Teplinsky has not been in touch since the strike on the command centre on the ship.

A representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry, Andriy Yusov, said that the information on Teplinsky was still being clarified.
