Girkin's associate and Russian military correspondent Mikhail Polynkov, who previously served in a Russian unit, has made some alarming statements about the current state of affairs on the front for the Russian Federation.

He spoke about his regiment commander Puzik (call sign ‘Evil’), who sends soldiers to certain death. Ukrainian journalist and blogger Denis Kazansky drew attention to his confessions.

The occupier claims that the day before he spoke with former colleagues who managed to survive the recent fighting. According to him, an entire battalion (up to 950 men) of the Russian army, in which he served, was destroyed almost completely.

Moreover, wounded Russian soldiers are not even being evacuated from the battlefield; as of Monday, about 50 people remained on the front line with various degrees of severity and are likely to die in the field at the front.

‘Yesterday I spoke to fellow soldiers who survived. The second battalion is practically destroyed. There are 50 people lying on the battlefield and no one is collecting them,’ he said, emphasising the dire conditions the Russians are facing.
