Reasons For Detention Of Dynama Minsk HC Head Coach’s Son Unveiled

Hockey agent and son of the head coach of Dynama Minsk HC Nikita Kvartalnov was detained in the capital of Belarus on October 6.

According to tochka.by, Kvartalnov Jr. is currently in the Akrestsin Street detention center. This was confirmed to us by a source in the Central District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk.

As specified by Russian media, Kvartalnov Jr. got into a fight with the general director of the club, Artsiom Karkotski. What exactly provoked the conflict has not yet been reported. Earlier it became known that Nikita Kvartalnov was banned from coming to the club's office.

After calling the police during the conflict on October 6, Nikita continued to “behave inappropriately”, and the matter escalated to detention. According to preliminary data, we are talking about a term of 10 days.

The press service of Dynama Minsk refused to comment on the situation. We also contacted the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee and will publish a response immediately after we receive it.
