Residents of the Malinauka district in Minsk have been with no landline Internet for a day now. According to reports, the problem affected A1 users. The connection was lost early Saturday morning and, according to reports, had not been restored as of 10 p.m., writes Onliner.

“It’s extremely unpleasant: neither the robot vacuum cleaner works, nor the TV, nor the Wi-Fi… The problem is that the company has provided no information, nothing at all about this. People are angry,” subscribers write.

The operator’s website and social media say nothing about the failure, and it is impossible to contact technical support fast.

According to those who managed to reach technical support, the operator’s specialists confirm the “difficulties” and claim that they are “working to eliminate them.”

It can be assumed that the problem is related to damage to the optical cable due to melting of the insulation of the wiring in the basement of one of the residential buildings on Yesenin Street. In any case, this and possible interruptions in the Internet are indicated by the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the SE Minsk Television Information Networks.
