Spending On Law Enforcers To Increase By Third In Belarus

In 2025, Belarus will increase spending on ‘national defence’ by a third. The draft budget allocates Br4.7 billion for this category.

In the budget for 2024, Br3.58 billion was spent for the same purposes - it's about 32% less.

By comparison, the national budget spending on healthcare is going to be 11.8 per cent higher, on education - 15 per cent higher, and on housing and utilities - 4 per cent lower.
