The Ministry of Labor has revealed the details.

Since October 1, Belarus has introduced a change in pension contributions to the Social Security Fund (SSF). Thus, artisans, owners of agricultural estates, and self-employed individuals working on a single tax are required to pay them. Now the government has introduced another innovation for these categories of the population — they have prescribed how they should register and deregister with the fund. The Ministry of Labor has revealed the details.

The government resolution has prescribed a scheme according to which these payers of pension contributions should register with the SSF and deregister from it.

The Ministry of Labor clarifies that this happens automatically — the fund will receive information from the tax office that a person has been included or excluded from the register of small and medium-sized businesses. That is, you do not need to personally contact the SSF for this.

Since October 1 of this year, the list of those who must make mandatory insurance contributions to the Social Security Fund was expanded. The contributions were introduced for artisans, owners of agricultural estates, and the self-employed.

The contribution amount is 29% of the self-determined income, but not less than the minimum wage. The minimum wage is currently 626 rubles. That is, the monthly contribution will be 181.54 rubles per month. For the year — 2,178.48 rubles.

The Social Security Fund explained earlier that not only the minimum wage is taken into account for contributions, but also its indexation (usually it is increased against the background of high inflation).
