Railway Car With Strange Inscription Arrives In Lithuania From Belarus

On Wednesday, a transit Moscow - Kaliningrad train arrived at the checkpoint in Kiana (from the Belarusian side - Hudahai) from Belarus.

The border guards noticed a Z symbol of the Russian army and the inscription ZOV (in Latin letters) painted in black paint on one of the wagons. The other carriage had an inscription in Russian: ‘Vilnius-city of Russia’, Delfi reported.

The train staff could not explain where these inscriptions came from,’ the Lithuanian State Border Guard Service (LBGS) said.

According to the laws in force in Lithuania, the train staff was obliged to remove all these inscriptions immediately. LBGS employees noted that if the inscriptions are not removed, the passengers will have to move to other carriages, while the carriages with inscriptions will be detached and will not be allowed to enter Lithuania.
