In Georgia, four opposition parties have announced that they will boycott the newly elected parliament after the elections on October 26, Radio Svoboda reported on Monday, October 28.

Thus, all four opposition parties that overcame the barrier have announced that they will boycott the new parliament, Radio Svoboda reports.

But the opposition is calling for protests. The first protest will be held in the evening of October 28 in the center of Tbilisi.

“The protest is very important. We will be where our voters are, as we have been before and will be in the future,” said opposition party leader Giorgi Gakharia.

Earlier, the opposition Coalition for Change and Mikheil Saakashvili's Unity - National Movement bloc announced their refusal to participate in the work of the new parliament.
