The German defense giant Rheinemtall considers the Marder infantry fighting vehicles to be the most successful model of combat equipment on the Russian-Ukrainian front. This was stated in an interview with TSN by the concern's CEO Armin Papperger.

“I can say that the most successful at the moment are the Marder infantry fighting vehicles,” he said.

Papperger noted that the German Defense Minister could provide detailed feedback on German weapons in the Russian-Ukrainian war. At the same time, he noted that some of this information remained confidential.
