Brest City Executive Committee has put up a tender for purchasing a TV set with a diagonal of 65 inches on the state procurement website. While the tender has the status of ‘submission of proposals,’ not ‘completed,’ the officials are ready to spend 1,591.29 rubles from the budget for the TV set. BGmedia journalists looked at TV sets of which manufacturers are suitable for this tender.
Brest City Executive Committee placed a tender for a TV set this week. So far, it has the status of ‘submission of proposals,’ not ‘completed. The officials are ready to pay 1,591.29 rubles. The TV should be brought to the City Executive Committee between October 28 and November 5 this year.
One of the tender documents contains technical specifications of the TV set, which Brest officials need. It has a black body colour, 65 inches diagonal (it's 165 cm), 4K UHD screen resolution, refresh rate of at least 60 Hz, the presence of SMART TV.
The journalists checked the website of Haryzont to see whether Belarus produces TV sets, which characteristics meet the demands of Brest officials. Haryzont produces only two TV sets with a diagonal of 65 inches. And only one of them meets the requirements in the tender. It is Horizont 65″ LE7053D.

The Onliner catalogue has information that they started producing this model in 2022. Prices for the TV in the catalogue start from 1,643 rubles. And on the site of Haryzont the price for this model is not indicated at all. Brest officials, we remind you, are ready to offer 1,591.29 rubles.
As for other manufacturers, which have TV sets with the technical characteristics requested by the City Executive Committee, the catalogue of ‘Online’ found 43 variants from different manufacturers. The cheapest are those made by the Chinese BBK company. Their prices start from 1,585.17 rubles. This is just as much as Brest City Executive Committee is ready to offer.

Last week, the media wrote that Brest City Executive Committee bought a tablet for 1,377 rubles and a laptop for 1,639 rubles through the state procurement website in October.
Haryzont, which produces Belarusian laptops, did not have the gadget, which Brest officials needed. However, two versions of the H-book 15 laptop in different configurations and colours were found in the ‘Onliner’ catalogue. They have almost the same characteristics that Brest City Executive Committee requested. The only difference is the number of processor cores: the officials needed six cores, while in the laptops of Haryzont there are only two. The Belarusian laptop, which could be suitable for Brest City Executive Committee, is sold from 1 499 rubles.
As for the tablet, the officials wrote in the terms of reference that they need a tablet of Xiaomi Redmi Pad Pro 5G 6GB/128GB international version ‘or analogue’. This is a Chinese manufacturer. We remind you that Haryzont does not produce tablets yet.
