He is fighting in the Kalinouski regiment.

Belarusian volunteer Aliaksandr Dumbliauskas has been sentenced in absentia in the ‘DPR’. He was sentenced to 14 years in a strict regime colony, reports ‘ERORADIO’ with reference to the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia. The soldier of the Kalinouski regiment was charged under the article ‘participation of a mercenary in an armed conflict.’

The agency says that between the beginning of the war and July 2024, Dumbliauskas with the call sign ‘Tungus’ took part in hostilities on the side of Ukraine in various points of contact ‘as a mercenary’ within the Kalinouski regiment.

Aliaksandr Dumbliauskas is 21 years old. He left Belarus in 2021 - after 11 months in pre-trial detention centre. Since the beginning of the war he went to fight. On July 25, a Moscow court arrested Dumbliauskas and his brother-in-arms, Yan Dubeika, in absentia. Dubeika has been in Russian captivity since June 22. The ‘DPR’ court also sentenced him in absentia to 14 years in a penal colony.
