Ukrainian Leopard 2A4 tanks managed to stop another mechanized attack of the Russian Armed Forces in the Kurakhove direction. After the occupation of Maksymilyanivka, the Russian army headed for Kurakhove, throwing into battle not only infantry, but also military equipment.

The battles on this section of the front cost the Russians 1,700 killed, wounded and captured. The enemy is slowly but surely moving forward, but at the same time, military experts say that the occupiers are suffering many more losses on the battlefield than they have time to mobilize new forces, writes Forbes.

The recent battles in the Kurakhove direction were very brutal. Thus, the enemy transferred 19 armored vehicles and four tanks to the positions of the 79th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Our paratroopers once again organized a warm welcome for the occupiers," said the fighters of the 79th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During Sunday's battle, five armored vehicles and one tank of the Russian Armed Forces were destroyed. 24 occupiers were eliminated, and the rest fled the battlefield.
