We are talking about intelligence officers and experts on the DPRK.

The government of South Korea is considering sending its personnel to Ukraine. It is about intelligence officers and experts on the DPRK.

This is reported by Newsweek. The publication refers to the media, which in turn quotes a representative of the South Korean intelligence service.

It is noted that these personnel can deal with interrogations or provide translation services in the case of capturing North Korean soldiers by Ukrainian troops.

In addition, Seoul will give Kyiv information on Pyongyang's military tactics, doctrine and operations.

The country's Defence Ministry also said at a press briefing later on Monday, October 21, that it would ‘openly’ review measures on the possible supply of lethal weapons to Ukraine. It is worth noting that Seoul has already provided Kyiv with humanitarian aid more than once during the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Journalists note that the report and comments from South Korea came after the country's intelligence agency said on Friday that North Korea, which is led by Kim Jong-un, had decided to send 12,000 special forces troops to support Russia, with 1,500 of them already deployed in the Far East.

Earlier, South Korean Defence Minister Kim En-hyun said that North Korea may send members of its regular armed forces to Ukraine to support Russia. According to him, this would be the latest sign of deepening military cooperation between Pyongyang and Moscow.
