Belarusians Are Laughing At Heated Jacket Developed By Slavianka Factory

The "pride" of the domestic light industry raised many questions.
Babruisk garment factory Slavianka showed a novelty — a jacket with electric heating, which works from a portable charger (popularly — power bank). The chairman of the Mahiliou Regional Executive Committee Anatol Isachenka published a video presentation of the "pride" of the domestic light industry on TikTok, Zerkalo writes.
It is noted that you can start the heating of the jacket by pressing the buttons. There are three modes: red (45−55 degrees), blue (35−45) and green (25−35). The jacket can even be washed in a washing machine.
Meanwhile, users in the comments were sceptical about this "novelty". Some expressed the opinion that this jacket is made in China, because on a popular trading platform "they have been selling this for 10 years":

• "Jackets from China are on sale for 8 years"
• “All they show is China”
• "It was brought from China"
• “Well, thank God, and we began to progress… In Europe, such jackets are already being sold twenty years ago."

Others were worried about whether it was safe to wear such a jacket:
• "I wouldn't take such a risk, and you also need a fire extinguisher to take with you"
• “Will it not knock with an electric current when heated, or just a live torch? Where is the grounding? Is it disposable, is wetcleaning prohibited? Is it necessary to undergo and carry out maintenance?"

The price caused outrage. On the official website of the factory, it is indicated that the price of the jacket varies from 192 to 240 rubles, depending on the model.
Commentators noted that they saw other prices for such jackets, and that "the people do not have such incomes":

• "And who will buy it at this price... it is cheaper just to buy a warm jacket and tie a heating pad."
There were also jokes about the convenience of such a jacket:
