Russians Wound Turkish Citizen In Ukraine

It happened during an attack on an international checkpoint.

Early in the morning of October 2, the Russian army struck the port and the international checkpoint “Orlovka” on the border with Romania with drones.

As reported by the head of the Odesa regional military administration Oleh Kiper, as a result of the attack by the occupiers on civilian infrastructure in the Izmail district, two truck drivers were wounded, one of them a Turkish citizen.

Both are in the hospital. Their lives are not in danger. Several trucks burned down. The building of the ferry crossing across the Danube “Orlovka” was damaged. This is an international checkpoint on the border with Romania. Measures are being taken to restore its work.

“This is terror against ordinary people,” Kiper wrote on Telegram.
