US Destroyers Shoot Down Some Of Missiles Fired By Iran At Israel

On Tuesday, October 1, US destroyers stationed in the eastern Mediterranean Sea shot down several missiles that were fired by Iran at Israel in a large-scale attack, the Washington Post reported.

The publication's anonymous interlocutor in the US Defence Ministry did not specify other details. Officially, the US has not commented on the information.

According to CNN, there are currently three guided-missile destroyers operating in the eastern Mediterranean Sea: the USS Arleigh Burke, USS Cole and USS Bulkeley.

Earlier, US President Joe Biden ordered the US military to help Israel's defence against Iranian attacks. The American president and US Vice President Kamala Harris were following Iran's missile attack on Israel in the White House Situation Room.
