New details of the attack on Kremniy EL.

On the night of October 18-19, drones attacked the Kremniy EL plant in the Russian city of Bryansk, considered one of the largest suppliers of microelectronics in the Russian Federation. This was reported by Astra, citing reports from local residents.

Russian officials have not confirmed the attack on the plant, which produces components for the Iskander missile systems and the Pantsir anti-aircraft missile and gun systems.

Seven aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed, said Alexander Bogomaz, governor of the Russian region.

“As a result of the detonation of the explosive device of the downed drone, a fire broke out in the attic of a non-residential building,” the head of the region said on his Telegram channel.

The Russian MoD reported that during the night, air defence systems on duty destroyed and intercepted a total of 16 Ukrainian UAVs. 13 were shot down over the Bryansk region, two over the Rostov region, and one over the Belgorod region.

In a later post marked "lightning," the Russian department reported that at approximately 07:15, there was an attempt to use unmanned aerial vehicles against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation. It was claimed that air defence systems on duty intercepted four Ukrainian aircraft-type UAVs over the Bryansk region.

Kremniy EL Plant

The Kremniy EL Plant is considered one of the largest manufacturers of microelectronics in the Russian Federation, employing more than 1.7 thousand people. It is known that in 2017, 94% of the products were manufactured by order of the Russian MoD. The plant cooperates with the concerns Almaz-Antey, Aerospace Equipment, Sozvezdie and Vega. Among other things, it produces components for the Pantsir and Iskander systems.
