NATO allies have already provided €20.9bn of aid to Kyiv this year.

NATO allies are making steady progress towards fulfilling their financial commitments to provide Ukraine with military aid worth 40 billion euros, as they have already provided Ukraine with 20.9 billion euros worth of such aid in the first half of this year alone.

This was stated by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in Brussels during a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukrinform reports.

‘It is important that we continue to deliver military support for Ukraine. I want to announce: the allies are well on the way to fulfil the financial commitments made in Washington. 20.9 billion euros worth of military aid was delivered in the first half of this year, so we are on track to allocate 40 billion. NATO continues to work with Ukraine and move it closer to the Alliance,’ the NATO chief said.
