The Russians were attacking the capital of Ukraine from the air for more than 3 hours.

Russian occupiers were attacking Kyiv with drones from the evening of October 16 and on the night of the 17th, a series of explosions took place in the capital of Ukraine in Desnyansky district, an apartment building was damaged.

As a result of the attack, windows and interior decoration of rooms on three floors were damaged, no information about victims was received, reported the Kyiv city military administration.

‘Russian drones were coming at Kyiv in waves and from different directions. Since yesterday evening and during the night, the air alert in the city was announced four times, the total duration of the threat was three and a half hours. In addition to the threat of UAVs, one of the alarms was related to the threat of the enemy's use of ballistic weapons,' noted the KCMA.

The agency added that all enemy drones that were detected near Kyiv and over the capital were destroyed by Ukrainian defenders.

The exact number of eliminated drones will be announced by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
