Fico said that the decision could be related to NATO.

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico believes that the likelihood of a quick end to the war in Ukraine is high, and hinted at possible news on this issue tomorrow, Teraz.sk reports.

"The likelihood of ending the war in Ukraine in the short term is high," Fico said during a speech at a parliamentary committee. "I expect some kind of hint tomorrow, because suddenly the topic of inviting Ukraine to NATO has come up."

At the same time, he said that he does not think that this invitation will be "free."

Fico reiterated that Slovakia supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine and stressed that he will support any peace plan aimed at resolving the conflict in Ukraine, the publication writes.

At the same time, according to him, it is necessary to forget that the Russians will leave Crimea and other territories, for example, Donetsk or Lugansk. He said the Russians were recapturing more and more territory and stressed that there was no military solution to the conflict.
