The IDF has crossed the Lebanese border.

On the night of September 30-October 1, Israeli troops launched ground raids in southern Lebanon as part of Operation Northern Arrows, targeting Hezbollah forces.

This was reported by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

The Israeli military said in a statement that it had launched "limited, localized, and targeted raids" against Hezbollah terrorist targets in the border area in southern Lebanon.

The operation, the IDF said, was authorized by the government several hours ago and is being carried out based on accurate intelligence. The ground raids are targeting Hezbollah facilities and infrastructure located in border villages that pose a threat to Israeli settlements in the north.

The IDF stressed that the operation is being carried out according to a systematic plan prepared by the General Staff and the Northern Command, for which the troops have been preparing for several months. Israeli ground forces are also supported by aircraft and artillery, which are striking military targets in the region. Operation Northern Arrows will continue depending on the development of the situation and in parallel with the fighting in Gaza and other areas, the IDF noted.
