Video Of Explosions At Oil Depot In Novorossiysk Port

Russia claims a naval drone attack.

On November 18, shots appeared that seem to confirm the explosion that occurred at night in the port of Novorossiysk in Russia.

The information was published in the Telegram channel of Yigal Levin, a military journalist from Israel, with a reference to the Russian media Mash.

The Russian media published a video filmed at the Sheskharis oil pier. It shows an explosion in the port from two angles.

In the first video, the camera is filming a car park near the port. The action takes place at night, it is stated that this was the night of November 18. Nothing happens for the first 9 seconds.

At the 9th second, a flash appears: it looks like there was an explosion somewhere in the bay area.

A column of smoke, barely visible at night, is rising above the site of the explosion.

The next part of the video contains shots of the scene of the incident taken from a different angle. In these shots, it is noticeable that the explosion occurred very close to the water.

It is important to note that the information about the explosion at the Sheskharis pier in Novorossiysk was published online the day before. It is indicated that the place of a possible strike is the port from where tankers carrying oil from the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are loaded.

In a commentary to the message dated November 18, the authors suggest that the explosion is a consequence of the work of naval drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, allegedly used during the attack in the Sevastopol Bay. However, it is worth considering that the length of the route from the extreme point on the Ukrainian Black Sea coast to Novorossiysk is more than 600 km.

There is no official data on the situation in Novorossiysk. Therefore, it is not clear whether this is a “stuffing” of the Russian special services, or a secret attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, or an emergency situation due to natural reasons for the Russian Federation (smoking in a prohibited place, negligence, etc.).
