Ukrainian army soldiers severely wounded a Russian lieutenant colonel, regimental commander Artur Zaripov.

This was tweeted by Anatoly Shtefan, a blogger and officer of the AFU.

He noted: "The regiment commander, Lieutenant Colonel Artur Zaripov, will no longer fight".
