The political prisoner has asked his father not to attend the hearing.

The trial of political prisoner Stsiapan Latypau, resident of the "Square of Changes" continues in the Savetski district court of Minsk, reports Viasna-96.

Before the trial, the political prisoner spoke about his inner freedom, his attitude towards the judge Aliaksandr Vouk, who presides at his trial, and the guards, to whom Stsiapan is handcuffed at every hearing.

"I will sit as long as I want to. What price I will pay is another question. But it will be up to me to decide. I will decide whether or not the trial continues. I will decide if I go back with the convoy or the ambulance today. That's my right. That's my freedom.

...The most painful thing is that I try my best to treat the judge as a human being, as a professional who is in a very difficult situation. But I can't do it. I really feel good about the guys in the convoy."

The court continues to listen to audio recordings of Stsiapan's phone conversations.

Before the trial, Stsiapan asked his father not to attend the hearing, so that he would not be hurt for his son.
