Decrease in currency reserves of Belarus can make devaluation of Belarusian ruble inevitable, analysts believe.

The Head of the National Bank of Belarus Piotr Prakapovich met in Tehran with Iranian Minister of Commerce Mehdi Ghazanfari, Iranian edition The Teheran Times reports.

Negotiations were devoted to introduction of mechanisms to use in the bilateral trade national currencies, “Radio Svaboda” reports.

Before Belarus signed swap agreements to use national currencies in bilateral trade with China and Ukraine for the total amount of one billion dollars.

Analysts are concerned that decrease in currency reserves of Belarus due to the increase in import can make devaluation of Belarusian ruble inevitable.
